FAQ

Questions, answered.

The things Canadian leaders ask before governing the AI they run. If yours is not here, just ask us.

What does Probity IQ do?

Probity IQ connects to the AI your business already runs, audits what it actually does, and scores each AI system against a Canadian control framework using evidence from real behaviour. The result is a board-ready scorecard that shows your AI is safe, compliant, and improving over time.

Do you need access to our AI model?

No. Probity IQ works from your AI's behaviour, the interactions it has, rather than its internal model. Your system sends those interactions to us through a simple integration, so you do not need to expose model internals or have a data science team.

What can it actually prove?

Things like whether people were told they were dealing with AI, whether it escalated to a human when it mattered, whether it stayed factual, and whether personal information was handled properly. Each control is marked plainly as proven from behaviour or attested, so you and your board can see the difference.

Which Canadian rules does it cover?

It is designed around Canadian obligations, including PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, along with consent and contact rules and the direction set by Canada's national AI strategy. The controls are organized into nine domains in our control framework.

Is this legal advice?

No. Probity IQ gives you evidence to support your compliance program and your conversations with counsel, regulators, insurers, and your board. It is not legal advice and does not replace a lawyer.

Where is our data stored, and is it secure?

Customer data is stored in Canada. We minimize what we hold, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and keep every organization's data strictly isolated. You can read the detail in our Trust Center.

How long does it take to set up?

It is lightweight. Systems that can send their interactions connect through our API, and black-box tools you cannot instrument are covered by a short attestation. You can have a first scorecard without a long implementation project.

How is this different from enterprise AI governance platforms?

Most enterprise tools govern the model lifecycle and assume you build or host the models, with a team to run the platform. Probity IQ is behaviour-based, Canada-first, and built for the business leaders who use AI, not just the data scientists who build it. It governs the AI agents you already run, from the outside, without model access.

Does it just check compliance, or does it help?

Both. The same auditing that proves compliance turns every interaction into signal, so issues get caught, fixed, and tracked to the version that resolved them. Compliance gets you in the door; the improvement loop is what keeps your AI getting better.

Who is it for?

Canadian businesses whose AI talks to customers, makes decisions about people, books work, or handles personal information, in fields like home and field services, clinics and counselling, hospitality, professional services, and dealerships, along with the boards that answer for it.

What does it cost?

Probity IQ is onboarding its first Canadian design partners now. Pricing is set with those early customers, so the best next step is to book a demo and talk to us about fit.

Can we see an example first?

Yes. Look at a sample scorecard to see what you would receive, or take the free two-minute readiness check to see where you stand today.
