Why we built it

We build and operate AI systems for Canadian businesses. The same question kept coming back from every owner and every board: how do we know this thing is actually behaving? Not in a demo, but on the hundredth call, the thousandth message, the decision nobody was watching.

It is the question holding the whole country back. Only about one in eight Canadian businesses has adopted AI, and the reason is rarely the technology. It is the fear of what happens when it goes wrong, and the absence of anything that proves it has not. Canada's national AI strategy put trust at the centre of adoption for exactly this reason.

We already had the answer running inside our own systems: an engine that audited every AI interaction, caught what went wrong, and tracked the fix. We took that engine, generalized it, mapped it to Canadian rules, and turned it into something any Canadian business can put over the AI it runs. That is Probity IQ.

What we believe

• Proof beats paperwork. A questionnaire records what you intended. Behaviour shows what happened. We start from the real interactions and prove what we can, then mark plainly what is only attested.
• Canada first. We are built around PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, consent and contact rules, and the direction of Canada's AI strategy, not retrofitted from a foreign regime.
• For the businesses that use AI. Not just the labs that build models. The owner, the operator, and the board need to govern the agents they already run, without a data science team and without access to the model.
• We hold ourselves to it. We run Probity IQ on Probity IQ. The standard we sell is the standard we keep.
